Subtle Attacks vs the Family Explained [SAFE] Programs
St. Michael Retreat House adopts a program for the family: Subtle Attacks vs the Family explained (SAFE). It hosts the program every third weekend of the month. It runs for two full days and dwells on issues that concerns the family.
Seven topics are discussed in the program: Demographics, New Age, Values (Mis-)Education, Truth and Meaning of Human Sexuality, Violence and Pornography in the Mass Media, Gospel of Life, and Family in God's Plan.
As of the moment, there are two sets of SAFE seminars: SAFE-Introductory Training and SAFE-Graduates Training.
The regular SAFE Introductory Training is for participants coming from all walks of life. SAFE-IT Youth is an also an introductory training primarily to reach-out to the young adults in our society. Another set of SAFE-IT is tailored for educators. It is called SAFE Special Programs for Educators.
SAFE-GT is set for updating sessions for graduates of SAFE-IT.
In both SAFE-IT and SAFE-GT experts join hands to deliver the topics to the participants.
Retreats & Recollections
St. Michael primarily provide good venues for group retreats and recollections. It also a pool of facilitators for the said events.
Team Building Activities
The ground of St. Michael Retreat House is a good venue for leaders’ training and hold team building activities.
